Most Mac users, even newbies and noobs, know a few of the basic Mac keyboard shortcuts. Use it to program your Mac’s function keys to do what you want. Or, use SimpleKeys to create automatic Macros which combine a variety of actions using a single keyboard combo. Give the Shortuct a name and press the keyboard combo you want to use. Options include the Shift key, Control key, Option key, and Command key. Add a number or letter to the combinations. Except for adding the text you want SimpleKeys to type when you type the keyboard combo. Now, as you’re typing, use the keyboard combo to automatically type the text you saved for that Shortcut. Not only does SimpleKeys let you insert text from a keyboard shortcut, you can create more powerful actions by combining them under a shortcut. Launch an app, open a file, even have the shortcut Macro pause while you insert additional text, then continue. Shortcuts can be saved and shared, and the only limit is how many shortcut you can remember, and the total number of keyboard shortcuts you can make using the Option, Control, Command, Shift, and Function keys combined with letters and numbers.
